[ROM][STABLE] Pixelized Os v2.nine [SM-T231/T230/T230NU][2018-08-16]

Hey guys it's enzo2001 hither, introducing you Pixelized Bone. My aim on this ROM is to make the tab 4 smoothen, up to date and with Pixel look and Android P which is latest android version. I make Pixelized Bone for 3 devices which is SM-T231/T230/T230NU, the divergence between SM-T231 and SM-T230/T230NU is the SM-T231 version include Dialer, Contacts and Letters for 3G users while the SM-T230/NU version i removed Dialer, Contacts and Letters for Wi-Fi users.

In this ROM i removed lot of Samsung and Organisation bloatwares and added many mods and tweaks to heave the ROM performance to max and i replaced stock samsung app to Material Apps and Google Apps except Dialer (SM-T231) and Contacts (SM-T231)

For Pixel feel i added latest Google Product Sans fonts which is included in Pixel device, Pixel sound and Pixel bootanimation. I also add together some Android P goodies and more to list here so endeavour it yourself. Give thanks you guys for assist me testing this rom, this ROM is now stable fifty-fifty though i don't have the device.

USEFUL Data ON FLASHING

Make clean Flash:

1) Wipe Dalvik/Art Enshroud
2) Arrangement
three) Data
4) Cache & Preload
5) Flash ROM

Dirty Flash :

1) Wipe Dalvik/Art Cache
2) Cache & Preload
three) Flash ROM

TROUBLESHOOT Problems

Fix "Failed to mountain/information" fault in TWRP :

1) Backup all your files considering this method volition wipe all of your data
2) Go to TWRP
3) Go to Wipe box
4) Select Avant-garde Wipe
5) Cheque "Information" and tap on "Repair or Change File Organisation".
six) Tap Change File System
vii) Alter from EXT4 to FAT
viii) And then alter back from FAT to EXT4
9) Washed.. now y'all can flash rom without any problems

Usage :
Extract the Pixelized Mods and follow all the steps below

Nova Launcher Setup (Android P Launcher) (Updated 2018-08-6)

The Nova Launcher Backup File volition be updated regularly to proceed up to date with the latest Android P Launcher, so please check this Nova Launcher Setup section to download the latest one.

i) After yous install my rom the screen will appear "Welcome to Nova"
2) Just click on "Select Backup"
3) Click on Browse..
4) Click on iii dots on pinnacle right and then click on settings
v) Tick both "Display Avant-garde Device" and "Display File Size"
6) Select the downloaded Nova Launcher Backup File
7) It will ask you lot to "Delete Current Layout ?" select "Yes"
8) Now on Nova Launcher homescreen tap on the widget on top of the screen
9) Information technology will open the widget application.. on the "General Settings" there is a setting called "First Row Text Size" alter it to "30sp"
10) If you desire to enable the weather but scroll downward you will see "Conditions Settings" then click on "Control The Weather" settings to enable the weather.. only if you dont utilize weather or dont want to eat much battery only leave information technology off
ten) At present printing back.. dont press dwelling house
eleven) Now for Android P Icon Pack just just hold whatever app icon that u want to change tap edit > tap the icon > select gallery apps > select MiXplorer and locate ur downloaded Pixelized Mods

Xposed Installer Setup (Android P Style and features) :

Notation : Some xposed module is hided from the app drawer but you can still find information technology in Xposed Installer > Modules.

1 - Activate all 8 modules, install/update xposed framework and reboot

2 - Neo Power Menu
i) Open New Power Menu
two) Become to Other > Tick Hide app in launcher > become to Backup and restore > Delete Settings > Tick All > Restart
3) Go dorsum to Backup and restore > Restore settings > select the downloaded Pixelized Mods > Tick all and press ok > Restart

Give thanks you for this release. I take it installed on a T230nu and so far my initial impressions are pretty good, information technology's weird about the resolution...I kind of don't like it but in a way I do.. The font is soooooo tiny, I hateful very, Very!!! Tiny, this can kind of exist changed with the app settings xposed module, but honestly I think the factory resolution fits ameliorate, I use gboard swipe typing and it is kind of hard to do at this resolution. On the t230nu their is also a no service notification that is constantly there. On the recents menu the task managing director and shut all, is kind of chaotic and you cannot see what they really say. The ROM runs great though and I love how bare bones information technology is, I'll definitely keep rails of this thread, and once again thank you lot for the work on this.

Thanks for the update. For anyone wondering this ROM actually runs great and it's a dainty residue between functioning/bombardment. A thing to note though, some apps that will install on normal smt230 ROMs will not install, for example, Instagram. A easy way around that is too install yalp store , so no big deal.

A affair to annotation though, some apps that volition install on normal smt230 ROMs volition not install, for example, Instagram. It's not a error, when you become to play shop to install it, it says device is not compatible,on other roms it installs fine. If that problem was fixed and if you could turn off the no service matter, and disable more than of the jail cell phone stuff I'd say this would be top pick of roms for this device.

Did you clean install or muddy flash the new rom? I had it happen to me a while dorsum (possibly x-12 versions ago of this rom) play store would not permit me to install basic apps that I had just installed before the flash. I would follow the directions, wipe & reinstall the rom. By the way Enzo2001, the version numbers are all screwed up again, making it very hard for a person to 1)download an update, because they are the aforementioned proper name, 2)during install of rom in TWRP, information technology shows a different name compared to the filename, 3)settings/about has dissimilar name than install proper noun. It going to become confusing for all, including y'all

I would follow the directions, wipe & reinstall the rom. The championship of your thread is "pixelized Rom v1.0. the 1st download link, the room is called pixel_light v1.0. so someone complains of the text being to small, you lot give a link to a new version called pixel_ low-cal v1.0 which is the same every bit the 1st version. And so in twrp information technology says you are installing a different name Rom, and finally the settings/nearly. Please clean it up so people don't install the incorrect one. For example, I used a file mgr, I looked at download time and date to know which to use, but in twrp/install, it doesn't show the appointment & time

Installed latest update v.ane.iv. thanks for fixing version name & version #. Seems to be working good, Instagram installs from play store . TTS not working notwithstanding. Screen seems to be more than responsive. Give thanks you for update!
